Change Lives with NYU Steinhardt’s Online SLP Master’s Program

It’s our actions that define us. Earning a master’s degree in communicative sciences and disorders from NYU Steinhardt is the next step in becoming a forward-thinking speech-language pathologist (SLP) who helps those with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Accreditation and Licensure

NYU is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, one of six regional accrediting associations in the country. Accreditation is granted every 10 years, and NYU is accredited through 2024.

Speech@NYU, which confers a master of science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders degree, is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Council on Academic Accreditation. ASHA is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for the speech-language pathology profession, with more than 186,000 members and affiliates nationwide. Speech@NYU is the online counterpart to NYU Steinhardt's on-campus graduate SLP program, which has been continuously accredited by ASHA for more than 30 years. Both of these ASHA-accredited graduate programs are also accredited by the New York Office of the Professions.
